Sheffield Academy – Intensive General English

The Intensive General English course offered by Sheffield Academy is designed for students who aspire to improve their language skills fast. Every course level includes classes for Reading and Comprehension, Speaking, Writing, Listening and Grammar.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

In total, the program structure consists of 7 levels and each level has 2 sections in order to fine tune the student’s skill further. These levels are:

Level 1 – Starter
Level 2 – Beginner
Level 3 – Elementary
Level 4 – Pre- Intermediate
Level 5 – Intermediate
Level 6 – Upper Intermediate
Level 7 – Advanced

Classes are help 6 hours a day in each program except for Fridays.

VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

At Sheffield, we offer 6-months and 1-year visa depending on the duration of the study. Visa process Starts after receiving the related documents along with the prescribed payment.

Once we get the visa Approval letter, it will be sent to you to arrange for the arrival.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED

* Full scanned colored passport with more than 1-year validity
* Photo with white background 45 millimeters (mm) high x 35 mm wide
* Complete set of health examination
* High school certificate and transcript(original and translated where applicable and must be certified True Copies)

**Age must be 18 to 34

COURSES

Name of the Course	Number of Classes	Purpose
General Language Courses	It is composed of 15 hours, specifically equivalent to 5 class periods per week	Focuses on giving students a bigger chance to stroll and tour.
Intensive Language Courses	It is composed of 30 hours, specifically equivalent to 5 class periods per week.	These courses are very suitable when students want to benefit significantly in a short time.
Premium IELTS Preparation Courses	It is composed of 15 hours, specifically equivalent to 5 class periods per week.	Preparatory courses of up to 6 6 MONTHS (INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED LEVELS) leading up to the IELTS.
UK IELTS Preparation Courses	It is composed of 30 hours, specifically equivalent to 5 class periods per week.	Students are taught special techniques, practices and skills necessary to crack the IELTS.

Effectively communicate and maintain conversations with native speakers
Write thoroughly on different topics using appropriate, accurate and natural language
Undertake university courses where English is language of instruction
Work and excel in an English-speaking environment
Conduct business confidently with native/proficient speakers
Take up academic tests like IELTS
