What will you learn?

The programme emphasise on the holistic development of an electronic engineer. Besides equipping students with technical knowledge, the programme also moulds graduates with knowledge on soft skills, attitudes, as well as ethical values. The objective of the programme is to ensure the graduate will be able to:

  1. Utilise state-of-the-art knowledge and techniques in synthesis, maintenance, service, sales, and marketing of electrical, electronics and computer systems.
  2. Engage themselves in research and development for the advancement of knowledge and cutting-edge technology.
  3. Assume technical, managerial and ethical leadership roles with command oral and written communication skills.
  4. Be involved in the affairs of professional institutions and keep abreast of the nation's needs and developments and provide services to the engineering communities and the nation.  

 

Eligibility:

STPM Principal Passes in Mathematics and Physics

OR

A-Level Passes in Mathematics and Physics (Grade C for Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electronic Engineering only)

OR

South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in Mathematics and Physics

OR

Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with an average of 70% in 6 subjects including 2 Mathematics subjects and Physics

OR

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics and Physics

OR

Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)

OR

Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning in the relevant field

OR

Matriculation Certificate, Ministry of Education in the relevant field

OR

Diploma, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) in the relevant field

OR

Diploma from other Institutions of Higher Learning in the relevant field

OR

Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
