Business executives, government officers as well as teachers have expressed the need to upgrade their qualifications and management capabilities to meet the challenges of an increasingly competitive environment. For the last eight years, the Faculty of Business and Accountancy has offered a one year Master of Management (MM) programme to employees of client organisations upon specific arrangement with such organisations. The programme is conducted on a full time basis and usually opens only to members of the client organisations. There is however, a growing need for graduate level management education among a cross section of industry players and few of these aspiring graduates cannot afford to take a full year off work. The UMGSB along with its experience in providing management education is now able to cater to this group with its part time Master of Management programme that is open to all individuals who meet the admission requirements.
• National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level equivalent) with the grade 80% and above
Or
• A Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00.
• Applicant may be required to undergo an interview session for certain selection program before being accepted by the respective faculty.
Students are required to enrol in the Malay Language Program prior to being conferred a degree.
A Bachelor’s Degree (Hons.) or its equivalent in the related field*

Preference will be given to applicants having a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA 3.0 and above or its equivalent.
Applicants having a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA 3.7 and above can apply directly for the Doctoral programmeENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Students must obtain:
• TOEFL score of 500 (PBT), 173 (CBT) or 60 (IBT) and above
Or
• IELTS Band 5.0 - 6.5 and above
Or
• Pass in any equivalent English proficiency test approved and recognized by the University of Malaya.
