What will you learn?

This Bachelor's program offered by the Department of Management and Human Resources under the College of Business Management and Accounting is tailored specifically for students that are interested to pursue their careers in the new global setting of international businesses. This program is also designed to provide the students with the business and management skills, language competence and cultural awareness required for success in such an international business environment. Also, the degree offers an exciting mix of business and management subjects, plus the study of a language, compulsory for the first year and optional thereafter. With an extra language with the mixture of management skills, graduates will be able to secure good prospects in the labor market also will have the option to pursue a higher degree.

Eligibility:

SIJIL TINGGI PERSEKOLAHAN MALAYSIA ( STPM)

Pass STPM/equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00 or grade C for two (2) subjects and Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level; or

SIJIL TINGGI AGAMA MALAYSIA (STAM)

Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid (taken within 2 years prior to application) and Credit in Bahasa Melayu, Pass Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level; and

*For STAM applications, student must have taken MUET with Band 1

MATRICULATION PROGRAMME

Pass Ministry of Education (MOE) Matriculation programme with minimum CGPA of 2.00; or

FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

Pass Foundation Studies with minimum CGPA of 2.00; or

A-LEVEL

Pass A-Level with a minimum of Gred C in 2 subjects; or

DIPLOMA/ HND DIPLOMA PROGRAMME

Pass Diploma programme with minimum CGPA of 2.00 from recognized institution by Government of Malaysia; or

DIPLOMA VOKASIONAL MALAYSIA (DVM)

Pass DVM in related fields AND Pass Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) with:

1) An Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.33 or higher;

2) A Vocational CGPA of 3.67 or higher and competent in all vocational modules;

3) A credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM 1104).

**Cohort 2013 onwards also need to get an exemption from obtaining a pass grade for Sejarah at SPM level.

UEC

Pass UEC with a minimum of grade B in 5 subjects

*For HR programme must be including Maths and BI subjects

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA (IB)

Pass IB with total points at least 30 points; or

SAME/WACE/AUSMAT

Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and South Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with 70%; or

South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) with Band 2 in 2 subjects; or

OTHERS

Other equivalent qualification recognized by Government of Malaysia.

English Requirement:

Have taken MUET with minimum Band 1* or

Pass IELTS with Band 5.5 and above; or

Pass TOEFL with score 550 and above

Career prospects:

Graduates of Bachelor of International Business which will be equip with a business degree combined with linguistic ability are in demand both abroad and in the increasing number of internationally-oriented companies in Malaysia. Some of the career opportunities that the graduates are able to pursue are as follows: • Human Resources Administrator / Executive • Sales Manager • International Account Executive • International Recruitment Officer • Marketing Manager • Risk Management Officer • Security Lending Officer Graduates with good results can choose to further their studies to obtain a Master's Degree in several fields of study.

UNITEN GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP

UNITEN Global Scholarship 2019 is for selected International Students who choose to study in UNITEN. The scholarship offers USD1,000 off from the tuition fee.

Not a recipient of any full scholarship or full financial assistance from any other agency / organisation.
