The MMus is an advanced programme in music performance with Principal Study tuition (either instrumental or vocal) at its core. This may be classical or contemporary and embrace both solo and collaborative performance. The courses also develop Masters' level skills of critical enquiry and research as appropriate to students whose principal mode of expression is through performance. This will enable students to articulate aspects of their work through the act of performance itself and through more conventional forms of academic practice
Candidates may be admitted into the music programs by meeting BOTH academic and music requirements below:
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must meet either of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with minimum CGPA 2.5
OR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA 2.5, but with minimum 5 years working experience in the relevant field
English Requirement:
Candidates are required to have a minimum of one of the following if their first degree was not in English:
- TOEFL: a minimum score of 550.
- MUET Band 3
- IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent)
If English is the medium of instruction from previous institution, supporting document is required
