

Under UCSI University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the MQA-approved Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology aims to equip science graduates with enhanced knowledge to conduct research and development for the local and global science & technology industry. Through this postgraduate program, learners will contribute positively to the betterment of the society by pioneering advances in pharmaceutical research and development.
Taught by the faculty’s professional academicians, the program seeks to instill learners with life-long learning to develop creative, critical problem-solving skills with good communication, management and leadership skills. It will also open doors to career development opportunities for science graduates.
Using a mixed-mode structure, this structural combination of coursework and dissertation offers advanced knowledge in pharmaceutical technology, as well as ‘elective’ management courses under the Faculty of Business & Information Science.
To facilitate teaching and learning, UCSI University provides computer labs, teaching / research laboratories, a library equipped with online database search services, and modern postgraduate teaching and research instruments. The program also stipulates the completion of individual pharmaceutical technology research projects.
BSc in Pharmacy OR B. Pharm (Hons) degree OR equivalent undergraduate degree in related field.

English Language Requirements
Minimum IELTS of 6.0 or TOEFL 550 (PBT) / 230 (CBT) / 80 (IBT) to be obtained before admission or achieved above 70% for English Enrichment Program (EEP) level 10 of UCSI University. To be obtained before admission.
International Students
To sit for English Placement Test (EPT) and enroll into CETE program until fulfil the above English requirement within 12 months upon arrival.
English Language Course Exemption:
Applicants who obtained Bachelor’s degrees in other universities that use English as the medium of instruction may be exempted from taking English classes at UCSI University if the alma mater’s Registrar issues an official letter indicating so to the University. Applicants may be required to attend an interview, conducted by UCSI’s faculty experts, or sit for a written test before they are accepted for admission.

UCSI University offers scholarships to deserving international students at UCSI University.
