

The Bachelor of Environmental Management Programme is designed with the objectives of producing skilled and trained graduates in the field of environmental management; oriented toward problem-solving by consideration and analysis of relevant aspects of bio-physical, economic and social sciences; able to manage the use of technology to improve the quality of life in the administration and management of sustainable development; and ethical, concerned, proactive, presentable, competitive and possessing a culture of excellence.
The programme is taught over a period of 8 semesters and requires completion of 130 credits of course work. This includes 24 weeks of Industrial Training in the 6th semester and a final year project thesis.
Specific learning outcomes of the program are as follows:
- To produce graduates with sufficient knowledge to build a career in the field of environmental management or related scope;
- To produce graduates who can demonstrate the characteristics of leadership in an organization or even the underlying business and is able to solve environment related problems through sustainable approach; and
- Competence in conducting research in the field of environmental management, whether at a postgraduate level or within their organizations and implement lifelong learning.
Applicant with Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) Qualification
1. Applicants should obtain at least C+ Grade (NGMP 2.33) in two (2) of the following subjects at the STPM level:
Biology, Economics, Physics, Geography,Chemistry, Math/ Add Math, Business Management, Accountancy, History
And
2. The applicants should have passed with credit in at least two (2) of the following subjects at the SPM/equivalent level:
Math/ Add Math one (1) science subject
ii. Applicant with Life Sciences/Physical Sciences/ Accountancy Matriculation Qualification
1. Applicants should obtain at least C+ Grade (NGMP 2.33) in two (2) of the following subjects at the matriculation level:
Biology, Economics, Chemistry, Math/Add Math, Business Management, Accountancy
And
2. The applicants should have passed with credit in at least two (2) of the following subjects at the SPM/equivalent level:
Math/ Add Math one (1) science subject
iii. Applicant with Equivalent Qualification
1. Applicants should possess a diploma or other qualification recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the University in a related field
And
2. The applicants should have passed with credit in at least two (2) of the following subjects in the SPM/equivalent examination:
Math/ Add Math one (1) science subject
ENGLISH REQUIREMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
If you are non-native English speaker, you must achieve one of the formal qualifications as part of the entry requirements: 1. IELTS - 1. Minimum overall score of 6.0 for TESL/English or 5.5 for other programmes; or
