

BACHELOR OF HORTICULTURE SCIENCE [BSHTII is a full time program of study, which emphasizes on the fundamental understanding of scientific, technical and management aspects in the field of horticulture. Students will be equipped with both scholarships and skills which will enable them to translate knowledge gained into modem technology application in the horticultural industry for the benefit of mankind. Courses in this program include basic sciences, applied biology, soil science, economics and management, and communication. Aspects of resource management, planning and evaluation of horticultural business are integral components of the program. In addition to on campus training, students will be exposed to commercial practices in horticulture when undertaking compulsory practical training in horticultural and related industries.
