The Bachelor of Biotechnology is designed to give students a comprehensive education and training in biotechnology focusing on three core areas, namely agriculture, biological sciences and industrial.
Students will be exposed to scientific principles and knowledge, bioinformation technologies, laboratory techniques in research development, business and entreprenuership skills, as well as legal, intellectual, social and ethical issues.
This programme is compatible with the new Taylor's Curriculum Framework that allows students to mix & match study modules.
PREREQUISITES
SPM / O-Level with Pre-U / Foundation
Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits for entry with pre-university/ foundation qualification
SPM / O-Level with Diploma
Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits for entry with Diploma qualification
