Our Information Technology degree programme provides students with the combination of theories and hands-on practice to manage an organisation’s information technology infrastructure and meet users’ needs.
The programme teaches students to use Internet Technologies and applications to solve real-world problems. The areas of studies include computer hardware and software, software development, web programming, web technologies and e-commerce. Graduates will have strong capabilities to integrate business requirements with Information Technology to improve and transform the business process within an organisation.
This programme is compatible with the new Taylor's Curriculum Framework that allows students to mix & match study modules.
SPM / O-Level with Pre-U / Foundation
Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits (including Mathematics) for entry with Pre-University/Foundation qualification
SPM / O-Level with Diploma
Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits (including Mathematics) for entry with Diploma qualification
NOTES: Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM/Matriculation/ Foundation / Diploma programme contains subjects in Mathematics that are equivalent or higher than Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent

Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
Pass with 5Bs including B in Mathematics

Min. average of 55% in 6 subjects including 55% in Mathematics (All Mathematics subjects except Data Management)

Min 50% including Mathematics

Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
