In line with our commitment towards excellence in education, Taylor's University is proud to announce a collaboration with The Actors Studio to establish Malaysia's first Performing Arts Conservatory Degree*. This programme is nestled in Taylors University's youngest school, the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and will be driven by its core vision to build innovation, inclusivity and reflective societies through the arts and social sciences.

PERFORMING ARTS CONSERVATORY DEGREE*

The Performing Arts Conservatory Degree* will contain modules that include Performance, Directing, History of Theatre, Devising Performance Text, Voice and Speech, Movement, Technical Theatre, Stage Costume, Hair and Makeup, Stage Lighting, Stage Sound, Stage Set Design, Stage Management, Scenography, Dance and Music.

Led by Joe Hasham OAM, Adjunct Professor & Programme Artistic Director, Dato' Dr. Faridah Merican, Adjunct Profressor &            Programme Development Director, and Dr. Muhammad Sayyid Shafiee, Programme Director

Co-created, co-designed and co-delivered by The Actors Studio, Taylor's University and top industry professionals

Collaborative teaching & learning by leaders in education and performing arts

Flexible learning spaces at Taylor's University Lakeside and The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac).

Course Details:

All students will have the option to choose Track 1 or Track 2: Track 1: Performance Track 2: Technical Theatre In addition, all students will have the option to do a Minor or an Extension in the following areas: Minors Education Management Entrepreneurship Journalism Marketing Event Management Creative Media Design Broadcasting Psychology Public Relations Extensions Dance Performance Music Technical Theatre
